Merry Christmas! We woke up at a leisurely hour of 7:15am and opened up our pressies and had breakky. Had a big, long chat to Tia Shazzy followed by a skype call with ma and pa in Fiji. Everyone loved their little santa hats and outfits!
We headed to the Leys' residence after the 1st nap and GG and Poppa were already there. We started the celebrations by having a glass of bubbles and then proceeded to pass around gifts.
Not long after, Simon and Glynny arrived with their lovely doggies - Mac and Tosh. They had some musical crackers which had numbered whistles in them and all together, we sort of managed to play Jingle Bells and a few other songs. It was great fun trying to orchestrate the whole thing.
The food was provided by Simon and Glynny and was absolutely amazing. Smoked salmon, mango and raspberry salad, and a lovely bean/asparagus/avocado/lettuce salad. And some roast potatoes.
We also played a charades/famous person game that Simon and Glynny taught us. Happy to report that our team won (Victor, Josh, me and nana/Anne/Jeremy). By this stage, it was about 5pm, so we called it a day and headed home with two grubby and happy babies.
Here we are, winding down for the day and getting ready for bed.
