DECEMBER!

Ruby and Ava will be turning 1 tomorrow. Unbelievable!  Where has this year gone?!

Here are a few things that we have been up to in recent weeks:

 We bought the girls a tricycle. It's not age appropriate (and it's not the one pictured either), but Ava loves it and moves up and down the lounge on it. Ruby doesn't move yet, but sits on it and makes "broom broom" noises. What a poser!

 We've ventured into messy play at SPACE with the girls - painting, gloop, sand and water play (pictured above). It has all been a bit hit and miss - Ava loved painting but Ruby cried. They were both okay with gloop and sand and Ava loved water play (beamed at everyone) whereas Ruby was not impressed and just sat there and watched everyone. She didn't even splash at all which is weird as she splashes so enthusiastically at home at bath time that I usually end up drenched by the end.

 We went to a "1st birthday party" for twins Anna and Carl from our antenatal group. So many babies! Here they are enjoying the swing.
