The girls will be 7 months in about 4 days. Can you believe it?!
They are just the cutest and funnest things ever.
* Ruby rolled back to front on Friday 28th June. I missed it as I was in the kitchen making their lunch, but MIL was here and she saw it all. She hasn't done it again since, but constantly rolls onto her side, and also wiggles around and ends up miles away from where I put her down.
* Teething: Both girls have little white caps. They get red cheeks alot and a teething rash flares up every now and again on their cheeks. But they don't seem too bothered by teething (except for one night when we had to give Ava a small dose of Pamol)
* I've started trying to teach them "milk" and "food" in baby sign. They watch me intently, so it will be interesting to see if they pick it up...
* Schedule is going super! Still having 1 wake up during the night for a feed, but they both go to sleep at 7 and wake up at 7:30. And napping well during the day (3 naps a day). We had two or three nights where they were waking up about 3 or 4 times each. So I upped their solid intake and added in 2 extra milk feeds during the day, plus I pushed their first nap out to 9:30am instead of 9 am and it seems to have made all the difference.
* Both girls love their food! Took Ava a while to warm to the idea, but she's kept pace with Ruby for the past 2 days. So proud of both girls! We have apple/pear/honeydew melon/farex for breakfast (2 1/2 cubes each), 1 cube of lamb/carrot/sweet potato (organic pouch stuff) for lunch and 2 1/2 cubes of carrot/pumpkin for dinner. And they practice "chew" alot, so freaking cute.
* Ava is such a gorgeous, giggly girl. She smiles and laughs a lot and is always so excited to see me or her papa. She is also the louder of the two at the moment! She is happy to lie on her play gym and kick around.
* Ruby still has her moments when she likes to shout or gasp to get our attention. She is super tickly around her belly/back and giggles every time. She hates having to wait for her food and makes lots of impatient noises whilst eating. And I think she'll be on the move soon eeeeeeek! :)
Every day/night, Josh and I ask ourselves how we got so lucky as to have these two beautiful girls in our lives.
Amazing little girls, Sad that we miss all this. Can't wait to see them soon counting down the days.
